A new Nespresso project

With the design of Nespresso’s Zurich store (2023, Switzerland), the coffee capsule and machine manufacturer’s requests led to conscious choices regarding materials and the customization of standard furnishings.
In order to reduce indoor pollution and to ensure the wellbeing of those inside the store, each accessory was treated with a transparent water-based paint that prevents the release of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) into the atmosphere.
For the central furniture of the Nespresso Zurich store, we created a texture using leftover coffee grounds.
The customization of the furnishings however followed the building’s original layout by adapting the showcase furniture’s dimensions, and creating a bench around a supporting column that was decorated by a local artist.
Contract has fitted about 150 interiors for Nescafe worldwide since 2008.
